Nullab Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at https://nullab.io and a suite of digital products, design tools, and web backends, including the exporthub Figma plugin (collectively, the “Services”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, plugins, applications, and related Services. By installing, accessing, or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms.
I. Use of the Services
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Services:
- In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- To exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit others.
- To interfere with or disrupt the proper functioning of the Services or our backend infrastructure.
- To attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data, third-party platform accounts (like Figma), or connected integrations (like Google accounts linked through our tools).
II. Products and services
Nullab Ltd provides various digital tools for personal and commercial design workflows. For example, our exporthub product allows you to export selected Figma frames and upload them to cloud storage solutions like Google Drive. Our plugins and apps communicate with our backends over secure HTTPS connections.
Depending on the product, Services may be offered free of charge or may include paid tiers.
By installing our plugins or using any Nullab tools:
- You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software in line with these Terms and the terms of any host platforms (e.g., Figma’s own policies).
- You may use our tools for personal or commercial design work.
- You may not reverse-engineer, sublicense, resell, or redistribute our products, plugins, or underlying systems except where mandatory law allows.
III. Third-party accounts and integrations
Many of our Services require or allow you to connect third-party accounts (such as Google or Figma) to enable core functionality.
By connecting a third-party account (for example, signing in with Google to use exporthub’s Google Drive export feature):
- You authorise our Services to use the respective platform APIs with the specific scopes we request (such as openid, email, profile, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file) to perform actions you initiate.
- You can revoke access at any time through the security settings of your third-party account (e.g., https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) and/or by disconnecting the account inside our tools.
- We design our integrations to request the minimum permissions necessary to provide the features you are using.
IV. Intellectual property
All content relating to Nullab Ltd’s website, plugins, branding, design, and underlying code is owned by or licensed to Nullab Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your content: You retain full ownership of your designs, frames, components, and files you create, export, or manage using our Services. Nullab does not claim ownership of your design assets.
V. User data and privacy
We collect and process personal and technical data as needed to run our Services (for example, account details from sign-in, encrypted OAuth tokens for third-party integrations, platform user identifiers, usage and diagnostic data). We do not sell your personal data.
For full details on what we collect across our suite of tools and how it is protected, please see our Privacy Policy: https://nullab.io/legal/privacy.
VI. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nullab Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of data, designs, or business opportunities arising from the use of our Services.
- Issues caused by third-party platforms or APIs (including Figma, Google Drive, or hosting providers), rate limits, or changes those providers make to their systems.
- Any issues arising from the use or inability to use our plugins, websites, or backends.
All Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except where prohibited by law.
VII. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to any or all of our Services if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time and may disconnect third-party accounts as described in our Privacy Policy.
VIII. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as our studio grows and we release new products. When we do:
- We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
- We may notify users of significant changes via email or in-product notices where appropriate.
Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
